Most runners have goals. Whether the goal is to hit a PR, get fit, or lose weight, the satisfaction of meeting one is glorious. Yesterday I had the opportunity once again to place my running goals on the side burner and assist one of my clients and friends achieve one of his. I can honestly say helping another run reach a personal goal is just as exhilarating, if not more, than accomplishing one of your own. Therefore, I encourage all runners to set goals and support others to increase the strength and brother (or sisterhood) of our running community.
